~Dominance~

The concept of Dominance in graphic design "relates to varying degrees of emphasis in design. It determines the visual weight of a composition, establishes space and perspective, and often resolves where the eye goes first when looking at a design," according to our Intro lecture of AGED 4243. In this photo, the object given the most emphasis is Lady Gaga. The direction her face is pointing directs the viewer's eyes to the sub-dominant element of her printed name on the left side of the graphic. I believe this is a good example of dominance because the dominant and sub-dominant elements are easily identified.
